What is l’Aquilone?
The Cooperativa Sociale L’Aquilone was founded with the aim at recovering people with psychical disabilities, helping them get into the social and working world.
It’s made of very skilled people devoted to the psicosocial and psychiatrist rehabilitation for years.
One of the goals the Cooperativa wants to score is to give better life conditions to people with disabilities.
This is the reason why we have decided to produce a record where our boys could be protagonist.
Polosud and La Cooperativa Sociale L’Aquilone, with the support of Regione Campania, Comune di Napoli and ASL Napoli 1 published this compilation in 1997.
Our goal was scored becouse almost all songs are played by people guested by Aquilone.
Various artists remade the arrangements, and the boys and girls of Aquilone, all “extraordinary beginners”, played in the chorus, as singers and musicians.
